Call for abstracts: 2nd Annual Northeast Travel and Tourism Research Association (NETTRA) Research Colloquium

The colloquium will be held at the 2nd Annual NETTRA Conference, which will spotlight and celebrate travel and tourism research in the region. The conference and the colloquium will be held via Zoom.
The Co-Chairs of the 2nd Annual NETTRA Research Colloquium, Drs. Lynn Minnaert and Jada Lindblom, invite abstract submissions from travel and tourism researchers. Graduate students in the process of obtaining Ph.D. and Master’s degrees are particularly encouraged to submit abstracts. There will be scholarship opportunities for the graduate students to cover their registration fees.
The research colloquium will be held during the morning of Thursday, January 20th, 2021. The workshop is suitable for established scholars as well as Master’s or Ph.D. students at any stage in their journey. The colloquium will provide an interactive environment for researchers and graduate students to learn from each other, senior scholars, and industry professionals. Features include:

- Participation in a 3-minute research colloquium where researchers communicate their research in a 3-minute pre-recorded video, followed by a live Q&A. It is important that researchers present their own work;
- For graduate students, participate in a mentoring session with senior scholars and industry professionals.
Submission Format:
- The length of each submission should be between 500 words and 1,500 words. The cover page and references are not included in the word limit.
- The cover page includes the title of the paper as well as names, complete addresses, phone numbers, and emails of all authors.
- In the preparation of the submission, the formatting of tables, figures, references, and acknowledgments should follow the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (7th Edition).
- All submissions must be written in English.
- All submissions must be in Microsoft Word (version 2003 or later) format.
- For each accepted submission, at least one student author must register for the NETTRA Conference, and present at the Colloquium.
