Since joining the New York State Tourism Industry Association (NYSTIA) as President & CEO in September of 2018, Robert Provost has focused NYSTIA’s programming, marketing & data analytics, advocacy efforts, and destination stewardship strategies. He has enhanced member communications and collaborative initiatives, facilitated rebranding and the restatement of vision and purpose for the organization.

Lisa Berger, Director of Ulster County Tourism & Office for Film has worked for county government for nearly twenty years. Over her tenure she has led the Office of Employment & Training, the Ulster County Workforce Development Board and the Office of Economic Development. As the Director of Tourism, Lisa oversees and directs all aspects of the county’s tourism promotion including marketing, public relations, partnerships, educational training opportunities, and international and cooperative programs.

James Sauter is Partner and Co-founder of Rove, a leading tourism data and technology company.  With an Honours degree in Economics, James is passionate about the role tourism and the visitor economy plays in developing strong communities and experiences for visitors and residents alike.  When not working, you can find James traveling with his family, sailing, biking, hiking, and enjoying the great outdoors!

Geoff Lacher is a senior data analyst at Rove where he uses analytical approaches to bring clarity to complex issues facing DMOs. Geoff currently manages a variety of engagements focusing on visitor spending, international travel, and automating data insights. Geoff earned a Ph.D. in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management from Clemson University.

Rich Adam is the Head of Client Development for Rove bringing with him 25+ years experience in the technology industry. He's helped advise and develop start ups and high-growth businesses with pioneering technologies to successful exits and $100M businesses by wearing the 'hats’ needed to get the job done. Rich is thrilled about joining Rove and contributing to the exciting journey ahead.
 
Dave Gerdes is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Happy Valley Adventure Bureau and Board Member of NETTRA. He has extensive experience in the hospitality industry and has a proven track record of results in improving revenues, market share, and property value. 

Jada Lindblom is a Tourism Specialist at the University of New Hampshire Extension and President of NETTRA. In her role at UNH, she aims to facilitate strategic partnerships and collaborations among stakeholders to strengthen communities’ economic potential and enhance quality of life. Jada’s focus areas include sustainable tourism, downtown revitalization, business retention and expansion, and the nature economy, including outdoor recreation and trails development.
