Why Join NETTRA?

The Northeast Chapter of the Travel & Tourism Research Association (NETTRA) was re-established in February 2020 in order to bring together tourism academics, industry professionals, and vendors located in, or with interests in, the Northeastern United States.

NETTRA is comprised of the following ten states: Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont, as well as Washington D.C.

NETTRA provides a platform for tourism academics, industry professionals, and vendors to
  • Engage in regional networking opportunities with tourism academics, practitioners, and vendors.
  • Expand individual and collective knowledge on regional issues relative to the tourism industry.
  • Share resources and collaborate on projects.
  • Participate in NETTRA’s annual regional tourism conference, where members’ work is featured and meaningful discussions take place.
